Our house is situated on the sunny side of Santa Cristina, which is a lovely village in the geographical centre of the Gardena Valley, and only few minutes to the new pedestrian zone.

From our balcony you can enjoy the amazing view to the mountains of the Sassolungo Group, Ciampinoi with the FIS Saslong Ski World Cup slope and the Sella.

In winter the place is the ideal starting point for skiers and excursionists,
in the middle of an unique and picturesque winter landscape.

In summer you can take delight of the nature on easy as ell as sophisticated tracking paths.

Moreover, also apassionate mountain bikers will be in good hands in Val Gardena.

How to reach us

By car

If you come from Italy, generally from the south, you follow the Motorway A22 until the exit of Bolzano Nord, then you go on on the road SS12 until Ponte Gardena (20km) and follow the intications to Val Gradena and Santa Cristina. If you come from Austria, generally from the north, you follow the Motorway A22 until the exit of Klausen then and follow the indications to Val Gradena and Santa Cristina.

By train

Through the train companies Trenitalia and Deutsche Bahn you can esailly get tickets to reach South Tyrol from all over Europe on a good connection. Coming from the north you should leave the train in Bressanone, coming from the south in Ponte Gradena or Bolzano. In each place you'll find a bus-connection directly to Santa Cristina.

By plane

The nearest airports are in Bolzano (only from Rome), Bergamo (for ex. Ryanair), Verona, Treviso, Innsbruck or Milan. From each of these airports a well organized bus transfer starts to S. Cristina.
